Objective

Drive awareness and active consideration of Galaxy Note8 with iPhone owners for the pre-order period to prime ahead of launch.

Social-led and locally developed creative designed to engage iPhone owners through an interactive, vertical Facebook format that takes users through the key USPs of the Galaxy Note8.

Tactic

iPhone owners require special attention because of their high brand loyalty; we needed to cut through with unique and interactive creative that showcased why Samsung Galaxy is worth considering through the unique USPs of Note.

Rationale

Audience

Apple iPhone owners - with our R&F buy, we were able to reach 26% of all Australian iPhone owners via Facebook.

Results

  • The creative drove high engagement with an audience who tends to show lower engagement with Samsung content (iPhone owners)

  • The content successfully created intrigue, driving user interaction.

  • Engagement rate was nearly 2x higher than benchmar.

  • Conversions were low due to the nature of the creative as well as targeting IPhone users

  • Social - 9x16 Facebook, across several variants and lengths
